Toshiba Medical Systems Italia is a multinational company which operates in the field of sales and support of electro-medical equipment such as CAT scanners, MRI machines, Sonograms, etc.

The goals
Manage the Toshiba product demonstrations on the customers’ premises quickly, covering the necessity for stock-allocation control and statistical analysis useful for the optimization of company procedures.

The solution
"Demo Management", the software created for the occasion, is a centralized system accessible with any normal web browser. This software integrates machinery relocation management (together with the relative components, tracked by serial number) and real time stock allocation monitoring of products in demo. It also offers numerous export options for statistical purposes and thanks to the multi-environment structure, it can be used separately, but centrally, by various Toshiba branches spread across Europe.

The results
The introduction of "Demo Management" into the Toshiba information system drastically reduced the management time of the demo product relocation, simplifying the warehouse monitoring procedure. The system is still in continuous expansion even today.

Laziale Distribuzione is an Italian company which has been successfully operating in the logistics sector since 1979, offering customers advanced in storage, domestic shipment and international shipment services.

The goals
Improve and enrich the services offered to customers and suppliers through the company website (http://www.logd.it).

The solution
The proposed solution, based on the Web Hosting and Firedoc services which AMInformatica offers, was integrated into the private area already in existence on the company’s website. AMInformatica, as a strategic partner, created the possibility for online monitoring of the warehouse stock situation, movements and orders, interfacing with the company’s computer system in iSeries environment.

The results
The company can now offer its customers and suppliers complete autonomy in monitoring their respective data without the necessity of an intermediary, therefore partially freeing up internal personnel from the day to day activities of querying the system for third parties.
