Unione Sanitaria Internazionale. The USI Group  (Accredited with the National Health Service) has operated in the diagnostic field for more than 50 years with extensive experience in sectors of blood work analysis clinics, imaging diagnostics, physical therapy and specialized medicine in general.

The goals
Improve the company information system, in iSeries environment, to integrate management of medical reports and medical results following patient visits. Reduce printing time and expenses relative to the images produced as a result of ultrasound examinations.
 
The solution
The proposed solution allowed the integration of centralized and real-time document management relative to patient visits into the company’s information system, taking advantage of advanced features offered by the iSeries system and modules which were developed ad hoc. A special Windows service deals with the interfacing of the machinery through the biomedical interchange standard, DICOM and the creation of PDF files ready for print. In iSeries environment, a Java module allows semi-automatic compilation of special templates for patient visit results.

The results
The company, besides drastically reducing image printing costs, benefits from the integration of the database relative to the patient visits with the creation of the inherent documentation, simplifying the task of document preparation for the appointed staff.

The solution
The CMA service offered by AMInformatica allows constant monitoring of the customer’s IT infrastructure as well as specially developed software, EVA, deals with automated and advanced alerting. EVA is able to interface with various monitoring systems, software and hardware, and manages the incoming alarms together, processing them through a customizable path (based on the specific needs of the user) which transforms the alarm into a report, sent via e-Mail or SMS.
